Major Mixed-use Project at Osiers Road for Hollybrook

January 2019

Hollybrook have appointed Burwell to develop detailed design proposals for their large urban development in Wandsworth.

We will take the consented planning proposals, developed by Rolfe Judd, and deliver detailed design and specifications through BIM modelling to take the project through to completion. We will also develop an approach to pre-fabrication to simply the construction process, whilst reviewing and rationalising the internal spatial arrangements of the building.

The Osiers Road development is part of the Wandsworth Riverside Quarter, a regeneration project that replaces underused and dilapidated workshop buildings with a high-quality community of residential, commercial, and retail buildings. The accommodation tenure will be diverse, including affordable housing to meet local needs. The formal arrangement includes two buildings, one podium block that carries two towers up to 14-storeys, and a separate block to the north of11-storeys. Courtyards and private communal gardens at ground and podium level, complement a vastly enhanced streetscape and public realm.

Burwell Architects are currently engaged with project co-ordination including addressing planning conditions, developing the detailed scheme and managing the collaborative BIM model. Construction work will commence later in the year, with completion due in 2022.
