RIBA Conservation Course attendance

January 2021

Nicholas Burwell and Caroline Rogerson have completed an RIBA Conservation course, the first step towards accreditation.

Burwell Architects are known for their expertise in the sensitive adaptation of historic and heritage buildings across different sectors. With a deep interest in the architecture of all eras - Nicholas has continued to lead the practice in a way that embraces working with buildings of heritage and has developed a sophisticated approach to conservation architecture. He has led projects that aim to reconcile the importance of heritage assets with contemporary use and practice.

We thought that it is about time that this experience was recognised, and so along with other members of the team, Nicholas has started the process of becoming an RIBA accredited conservation architect.

The RIBA Conservation Webinar Series is a six-module programme that addresses the philosophical and practical requirements associated with the responsibility of working on a historic building. We recommend taking part if you have an interest in developing your professional relationship towards designing interventions for historic buildings.
