Post-covid lockdown measures have prevented a lot of extra-curricular workplace activities over the past two years.
However, we are very pleased to be getting back on track, and this week we re-established our regular life drawings classes for Burwell staff
As an architect, it is sometimes pleasurable to apply pen, charcoal, or pencil to paper, and make unmeasured marks off the grid and away from the computer. For this reason, we like to encourage our staff to attend life-drawing classes.
Organised by Lewisham Council’s Adult Education (@adultlearninglewisham) and taught by the artist Caroline Underwood (@cazunderwood), the classes are enjoyed by all that attend. And the creative results of our time spent concentrating and exploring this different creative medium and subject are nearly always surprisingly good quality.
